Still no time for some major improvements waiting in the pipeline. In the meantime, two small usability improvements:
- Clicking on "new list" sets focus on input field
- Holding the Shift key when pressing enter on the add form add the item to top, not to bottom.

After a loong time with no updates (I have been too busy with too many other projects) I managed to deploy some minor bugfixes today:
- sorting of lists in the sidebar is now case-insensitive
- "log out" works now
- quotation marks in title of items don't screw up edit form anymore
- deleting a list leads you to context now

After a long period of being busy with other projects I managed to release a minor update today. The only new feature is the possibility to export lists in the YAML format - this is currently not exposed in the interface, the yaml version of any list can be accessed by appending the extension .yaml to the URL of the list.

Furthermore, some minor bugfixes and UI improvements have been committed. Stay tuned for more features in early 2009!

With todays update Atom (a.k.a. RSS) feeds are supported for all lists. These will be improved in the future to fully support various Atom features and a second feed for all changes that happen to a list. Todays installment allows you to be notified of new items being added to a list, e.g. to follow the changelog in your favorite feed reader!

Back from holidays a new build of Listdings went online today. The main improvement is the implementation of parts of the design that Johannes did and further optimization for using Listdings on the iPhone and other mobile devices.

We are still working mostly to get the basics right, currently improving JavaScript performance is on the top of our list. Groundbreaking new features will have to wait for now, but will be much easier to implement once the basic things are really solid.

After a lot of hassle to get the Tomcat configuration right, listdings.com went online today in its first version. The version is rudimentarily usable and will remain in closed alpha until the basic features are implemented. Email me (Flo Ledermann) if you want an account to play around. If you do not know how to reach me you will have to wait for the registration process to be set up, which is not top priority right now...
